Research Grants Thor Heyerdahl’s Research Institute aims to continue the research of the late Thor Heyerdahl. To fulfill this goal we work with a threefold strategy: 1) Continue our long tradition of independent research projects. 2) Initiate new research on collections in the museum. 3) Support research carried out by independent researchers. Thor Heyerdahl’s Research Institute encourage applications from researchers continuing Thor Heyerdahl’s research in any of his fields of interest. Heyerdahl devoted his life’s work to investigate culture history. Two keywords are culture history and maritime experimental archaeology. |
