Fatu-Hiva exhibition
| In 1937, Thor Heyerdahl and his wife departed for Fatu-Hiva in the Pacific Ocean on their honeymoon. They wanted to get away from civilisation. They returned to Norway one year later. They had found that it was impossible to find a paradise on earth where Westerners had not been and left their mark. However, their trip to Fatu-Hiva set the course of Heyerdahl's later life. Read more and experience the exhibition at the Kon-Tiki Museum. |
