The Kon-Tiki Museum invites you to the public opening of a new exhibition on Tuesday, May 5, from 10:00 to 20:00.

The area around Kon-Tiki, beneath the raft, and in the Easter Island exhibition has undergone a major upgrade. The legendary Kon-Tiki raft is now presented in a spectacular new scenographic setting with a living ocean and sky—an experience that gives you the feeling of being on board during the journey across the Pacific. New interactive stations invite you to explore the expedition with both your senses and curiosity, and Thor Heyerdahl’s courage, vision, and companions are brought to life more clearly than ever before.

Beneath the raft, you can “dive” into the fascinating marine diversity that surrounded the expedition. Here, the ocean is brought to life, adding a whole new dimension to the story of the voyage across the Pacific.

Free guided tours will be offered at the following times:
10:30–11:00
13:00–13:30
16:00–16:30
17:00–17:30
18:00–18:30

Registration for the guided tours is done via separate digital links, one for each session. Please remember to specify the number of tickets in your cart before completing your registration.
