After a long period of planning, we’re excited to begin the transformation. During the winter of 2025/2026, the legendary Kon-Tiki raft will get a spectacular new setting — with a vivid ocean and sky that bring to life the feeling of being on board, crossing the Pacific.

To prepare for these new exhibitions, we will carry out some heavy and noisy construction work, and the museum will unfortunately need to be CLOSED November 17–30, 2025.
